Help Desk Information
The St. Michael help desk began the summer of 2013 in preparation for the tablet initiative. During that time the help desk became a licensed Fujitsu Warranty Repair center, and hired 5 students who all became Fujitsu certified and some of them became A+ certified which is the industry standard for entry level computer technicians. The St. Michael help desk is completely student run from diagnosing, imaging and repairing the 800 tablets we have on campus. Not only do the help desk technicians repair the computers, they also work on desktops, printers and projectors. Most students in the help desk are upperclassmen but students in all grade levels are welcome to join. They start by taking computer architecture learning basic computer repair.
