

Tours provide families with the opportunity to visit on a typical day at St. Michael High School. In addition to a general tour and overview, parents and their students are encouraged to ask questions about any aspect of St. Michael while on the tour.
Families interested in attending a tour must schedule their visit in advance. The tours will last about an hour. Tours are intended for small groups or individuals, registration for a Tour is limited.

You will receive a call or an email from a faculty or staff member to arrange a personal interview with you and your son/daughter. Interviews will take place between November 2022 and January 2023.
All applications for the 2023-2024 school year are due on Friday, November 18, 2022. If you are interested in applying beyond the deadline, please give us a call at 225.753.9782, ext. 12.
The placement test is given on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 8 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., to all 9th grade applicants. Prospective students should arrive by 7:45 a.m. Please bring several #2 pencils, and calculators are permitted.
Tuition Assistance Meeting:
While your student is taking the placement test on Saturday, December 3, 2022, we would like to offer any interested family the opportunity to gather more information about our tuition assistance program. Please join us in the library at 8:00 a.m. for refreshments and a brief description of the tuition assistance process.
Admissions letters will be mailed on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
The deadline to register for new students at St. Michael High School for the 2023-2024 school year is Friday, March 10, 2023.
Due at the time of registration are the following items:
- Registration Form
- Copy of Student’s Original Birth Certificate
- Copy of Student’s Social Security Card
- $550 Registration Fee
- $650 Technology Fee
- Student's Immunization Records
Student and a parent/guardian should attend this evening which will include important school information and the course selection process. The meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Building.
Eligible incoming 9th grade students, will take proficiency tests for high school courses this morning. The details will be provided at Freshman Scheduling Nights. These tests are only for 8th graders enrolled in courses for high school.
