Experience the Warrior Difference

St. Michael High School is a co-educational school, grades 9-12, for students who are seeking a comprehensive, college preparatory, Catholic education. With a passionate, experienced faculty and a rich and challenging curriculum, St. Michael provides the ideal environment for students to achieve their full potential. Students are encouraged to work hard, to dream big, and to see academic success as an exciting and worthwhile pursuit. It is our belief that Jesus is the foundation of our educational enterprise, and that we bring the faith of Jesus’ power and his revelation to life and to each student, idea, and experience.

Why SMHS?

St. Michael High School caters to young men and women who are interested in developing themselves spiritually, intellectually, and personally in a Catholic co-educational environment. There is an opportunity for everyone to get involved in the numerous clubs, athletic teams, and spiritual programs that we offer. We maintain a small student to teacher ratio of 15:1, and our teachers are very generous with their time working with students in order for them to achieve their optimum educational experience.

St. Michael helped prepare me in many ways for where I am today. My teachers pushed me to do better and strive to be my best. Sports allowed me to learn how to work together and lead people of different backgrounds. I learned that life doesn’t always go as planned, but you take it in stride and you help others around you to do same.

Whitney Dunlap

Class of 2005

We were a young school then, but in those early years, we had an opportunity to shape the future of the school. Being a young school, and we were also somewhat small, provided for an environment that was very conducive to a family. I am a warrior! And we are family.

St. Michael High School prepares the whole student.  Extra care is given to ensure students succeed academically, athletically, and personally.  A caring faculty and staff are the cornerstone of this success and I have had the pleasure of being a part of this group for the past 16 years.  I have enjoyed every minute of my time spent at St. Michael High School – my second family.

Teaching at St. Michael for the past fifteen years has made me a better person and has helped me grow in my faith more than I ever thought possible.  I work with so many holy people that truly want the best for our students and each other.  I love the energy of my students and I still feel so much joy when they share their successes with me.  There’s no place I’d rather be.

I love teaching at St. Michael because we strive to develop the whole person, not just academically but spiritually.  The school’s Catholic culture creates an environment where students can discern God’s will for their lives.  St. Michael students and staff are encouraged to strive for holiness.

Teaching at my alma mater is a blessing.  My experience as a student was a great one, and I have always wanted to give back to the school, its students and the community.  Being a teacher at St. Michael allows me to do just that.

Zach Leger, C/o 03

Math and Phys. Edu. Teacher

I love St. Michael because I can be an all-city wrestler, an all-parish tuba player, and National Honors student without having to choose any one over another. At St. Michael I feel that I can cut my own path and not worry about being forced into a mold.

I love being a student at St. Michael because there is such a wonderful environment here. I play volleyball, basketball, and softball for the school. The coaches are all amazing and I wouldn’t have wanted to go to school anywhere else.
