Principals Newsletter – May 2019

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
The atmosphere of excitement and growth prevails here at St. Michael High School. Our campus shows visible signs of construction of our new multi-purpose building, which is scheduled to be completed by the start of the new school year. Students and teachers are working hard as we make our way to the end of the 2018-2019 school year. Seniors will soon begin exams and realize their dreams of graduating from St. Michael High School.
To continue this positive trend of growth, I am pleased to announce that we will be expanding our leadership concept to a president/principal model. This model has proven to be successful in Catholic secondary schools for more than three decades. The president will collaborate with the principal in advanc-ing the mission of our school and will primarily be responsible for the business aspects of St. Michael. This leadership concept will allow the principal to focus on the day to day running of the school. I am blessed to continue to have the privilege of serving as principal, and I look forward to our future with anticipation and hope.
The administration would like to thank the St. Michael students, the parents, families and friends, the faculty and staff, the Home and School Association, the Warrior Club, the Advisory Board, Father Ryan Hallford, Father Paul Gros, Dr. Melanie Verges, and Bishop Michael Duca for helping to make this school year a successful one. We asked for your continued prayers and support as we live out our ministry of forming young people as committed disci-ples of Christ.
Ellen B. Lee, Principal
