Today’s pro-life topic is those in our society who are often Forgotten. Mothers suffering from miscarriage or stillbirth, medical workers and first-responders who work around the clock, prisoners who feel given-up on, homeless who feel invisible, etc.
The last 20 minutes of each lunch hour, we will be praying a rosary in the Chapel for those who are forgotten. This will count as Service Block #7.

This Week is Pro-Life Week. We hope you will join us this week for awareness and service!
Today’s topic is Support for the Unborn and Mothers in Crisis. On your grade level Moodle page, there is a link where you can spiritually adopt a baby & mother to pray for.
You can also follow the link to sign up for the Born to Run 5K in support of our local crisis pregnancy center. Participation in this event will count as Service Block #5.
Congratulations to the St. Michael Girls Cross Country team for being champion runner up at the NSU Pre-State meet. The Boys team placed 3rd. Rebecca Quebedeaux finished 6th out of 171 runners. Warrior Boys are ranked 7th out of 250 teams in Louisiana and Warrior Girls are ranked 11th.
You may dress up Friday for Halloween by donating $5 to the Baton Rouge Food Bank. Check your email for the link to make an online donation (the link will be open through Wednesday) or you may pay cash in the office.
Peer Ministry Club will be meet today in the Cooking Lab during all lunch hours. All members should pick up their lunches and come to the meeting.
Student Council will meet tomorrow evening from 6:00 to 7:00 in the cafeteria.

Today’s pro-life topic is Care for the Elderly. Many in nursing homes are even lonelier because of COVID restrictions.
Join us at lunch to make some Fall crafts and decorations to brighten the halls of our local nursing homes. This will count as Service Block #3.
We also encourage everyone to dress up for Halloween tomorrow in support of the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
This Monday at 7pm, the Warriors for Life Club will be sponsoring a candlelit Rosary for Life on the back Lawn of St. Michael. Bring a picnic blanket, your family, and a rosary, and join us in praying for all pro-life issues. Masks and distancing is required. This counts as Service Block #7.
First hour teachers – please check your mailbox at the end of the day today as you will receive passes for each student who pre-purchased a dress-day pass. These passes must be given to the students in the morning. Students who come to the office to buy passes tomorrow will be given their passes from the office.

Today’s pro-life topic is Respect for All Races and Cultures. As Warriors for Life, we want to practice better listening and support for people with different experiences than ours.
At lunch, sign the pledge to be a better listener, support, and friend to those from a different culture or race as you.
Homerooms, after announcements please send a student to the office to pick up door paper for door decorations. Please have one or two students work on this project. It may be taken home. All door decorations must be up Monday by the first bell. Homeroom teachers, please see email from Ms. Berthelot for more details.
Don’t forget your $5 Food Bank donation if you want to dress up for Halloween. An email was sent regarding dress guidelines. Make sure your outfit falls within these guidelines. At each lunch we will have a costume contest. Winners will win a Chick-Fil-A gift card.
