Athletics Overview

Robert Smith Athletic Director

Athletic Director’s Message

The St. Michael Athletic Department is committed to the development of well-rounded athletes with the school’s mission statement being the focus of our program. We encourage our student-athletes to integrate their Catholic faith into their athletic experiences, and do so by stressing the development of character, sportsmanship, and servant leadership. With nearly 60% of our student body participating in athletics, over 30% of those student-athletes participate in multiple varsity sports. Our varsity athletic teams have won 33 state championships, 26 state runner-up titles, and over 125 district championships. These accomplishments in our short 34-year history make us Warrior Proud!

Our Athletes Lead in the Classroom and on the Field

At St. Michael, our athletes learn how to balance their academics, athletics, and personal lives. Players learn the importance of being part of something bigger than themselves.

St. Michael Warrior Club

The St. Michael High School Warrior Club is a booster organization committed to supporting Warrior athletic/team programs. In addition to traditional boys and girls athletic teams, they also support cheer, band, dance, and flag. The Warrior Club provides funding for improvements to new and existing on-campus athletic facilities and equipment, scholarships, athletic events, as well as recognition of individual/team accomplishments via convocations held throughout the school year.
Anyone can participate in the Warrior Club through membership and volunteering. Without support from our members, the Warrior Club could not support the athletic programs at St Michael!
