Daily Announcement – Thursday, February 22, 2018

Good Morning, did you know that in 2016, there were more than 63,600 drug overdose deaths in the United States? Today we will “sock it to drugs” by wearing crazy socks to represent our choice to not become a statistic. Today, one student in each lunch shift will be selected to win a prize for wearing the craziest socks.

Today during all lunch periods, we will have signups for those interested in participating on a kickball team.  Our kickball tournament will be held Friday, March 16th, directly after school.  Teams will not be stacked, as we will have an automated generator to generate the teams.  However, teams will be by grade level.  So listen to the announcements during lunch and make sure if interested, that you sign up.

Don’t forget to bring money to your religion class to put in the rice bowl! All money collected will go to Catholic Charities. Stay tuned and listen closely starting next week for different weekly challenges.

Tomorrow all students who purchased a Winter Formal shirt may wear it with their regular school uniform.

Crispy Catch will be here tomorrow as a special vendor.

Seniors, remember to look over the senior packet that was sent to you before the Mardi Gras break.  Deadlines will be coming up soon.

All student council members must be at school Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to decorate the gym for the dance and Sunday at noon to help clean up.

All students who signed up for the blood drive, on Monday, should have received an email from Ms. Berthelot yesterday letting you know the time of your sign up.  If you did not, please email her or come by the office today to speak to her.

Congratulations to Girls Soccer Senior, Sophia Silva, for being named to the High School All-Star game!
Good luck Sophia!
