  • ACCREDITATION

Formed in Catholic tradition, the mission of St. Michael High School is to foster the spiritual, intellectual, and personal development of young people as committed disciples of Christ.

IN VERITAS, Warriors seek the truth, demonstrating creativity, independence, and a constant thirst for knowledge. They stand on the side of Truth, even if they stand alone.

IN FIDES, Warriors live the faith, revealing a deep sense of joy fostered by prayer and trust in God. They pursue a life of virtue founded on the teachings of our Catholic faith.

IN MINISTERIUM, Warriors serve like Christ. As servant leaders, they show deep respect for self and others, and act with courage and compassion.

St. Michael High School is celebrating over 30 years of preparing students for college, careers and their life of Christian leadership. Staffed by a dedicated faculty, this Catholic school is fully accredited by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary & Secondary Education, AdvancED and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Our Philosophy

St. Michael the Archangel Diocesan Regional Catholic High School is founded on the belief that we are persons uniquely gifted by God. Students are given the opportunity to acquire knowledge and to recognize and develop their God-given talents within the context and tradition of a Catholic co-educational community. We believe that the experience of a Christian environment, where the virtues of love, respect, unity and dignity are expounded, enables each one of us to accept Jesus as a model and teacher and to understand the message of the gospels

The St. Michael Difference Matters

St. Michael is a co-educational, college preparatory school, grades 9-12, for students who are seeking a traditional, comprehensive Catholic education. With a passionate, experienced faculty and a rich and challenging curriculum, St. Michael provides the ideal environment for students to achieve their full potential. Students are encouraged to work hard, to dream big, and to see academic success as an exciting and worthwhile pursuit. St. Michael the Archangel Diocesan Regional Catholic High School was established in 1984 by the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge.
