Thank you for your interest in working with the children and youth of St. Michael the Archangel High School. As Christians and adults, we must provide safe environments for our children and youth and hold ALL adults who work with minors to a code of conduct that is Christ-centered and professional.

The Safe Environment Program implemented by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge requires all church/parish employees and volunteers, who have ongoing, unsupervised contact with minors in the course of their employment/work, service, and/or ministry to:

view the Safe Environment Training Video for Adults,

complete the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge Employee and Volunteer Application with references,

stop by the SMHS business office to pick up the paperwork for completing the FBI fingerprinted background check,

read the Code of Ethics and sign the Acknowledgment Form,

undergo a screening via the Louisiana State Police Sex Offender Register, and undergo a background check.
