School Auction was a Boot Scootin’ Good Time

St. Michael High School’s Warriors, Wranglers & Rhinestones auction was held on Saturday, March 25th. The school gym was transformed into a western corral for St. Michael faculty, parents, alumni and members of the community who attended the event. Guests enjoyed delicious barbeque and music by the Rewind Band as they bid on over 240 items in the Silent Auction. The Live Auction began at 9:00 p.m. and featured 11 fabulous items including a South Africa big game hunt, a 4 day beach vacation at The Inlet Reef Club in Destin, Florida, an autographed Odell Beckham football helmet, and a guided deer hunt.

All proceeds from the event will support scholarship programs and other educational advancements at St. Michael High School. “This important fundraiser would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our auction committee members and the support from our St. Michael community.  Thanks to their hard work and dedication, this event was a huge success,” said Advancement Director Josh Galasso.

Sponsors for the event included First Bank & Trust, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, ISC Constructors, Gerry Lane Buick-GMC, Benny’s Carwash & Oil Change, Glazer’s Distributors, Crescent Crown Distributing, School Time, N2N Communication, Star Service Heating & Cooling, the McCann family, GraceHebert Architects, Gage Telephone Systems, Todd Husers State Farm, and The St. Michael Warrior Club.
