Thanks to a generous donation from Mrs. Jane Boyce, the St. Michael High School Boyce Library offers a variety of resources to meet the needs of today's 21st century learner. In addition to over 12,000 books and numerous electronic databases, there are subscriptions to the Advocate and over 45 monthly periodicals. A full service color copier is available for student use. The library has two professional librarians who each hold a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with additional certification in School Library Media Centers.

The physical layout of the library is organized into group and individual work areas, a computer lab that can accomodate an entire class of students, and two study rooms that upper classmen may reserve. Students are welcome before and after school, as well as during most lunches, to study, conduct research, complete homework, or to just read quietly. The library is open from 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with aftercare available until 5:30.
