Boyce Library
Thanks to a generous donation from Mrs. Jane Boyce, the St. Michael High School Boyce Library offers a variety of print and electronic resources to meet the needs of today's 21st century learner. In addition to over 12,000 books and electronic databases, there are subscriptions to the Advocate and over 45 monthly periodicals. By taking advantage of our extensive eBook and database collections, students can even access our library and conduct research 24/7 from the comforts of home.

The library has two professional librarians who each hold a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with additional certification in School Library Media Centers. Want a good book or have a research question? Mrs. Donaldson and Ms. Ehrensing are glad to help. In addition, we are thankful for our two senior SILC students, Michael and Anna, who are available during lunch periods.

The physical layout of the library is organized into group and individual work areas, an embedded computer lab that can accomodate an entire class of students, and two study rooms which upper classmen may reserve. Students also have access to a full service color copier and scanner. The library is open from 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with aftercare available until 5:30. Students are welcome to check out a good book, conduct research, finish homework, or review for a test.
