Monday:February 1
Our Catholic School Week Drive was a big success. Thank you to everyone who participated. Now for the totals:
Third place is Ms. Coorpender’s class raising $174 and by grade, was the Sophomores collecting a total of $335
Second Place is Coach Bernhard’s class raising $232 and by grade, was the Freshmen collecting $368
First Place is Ms. Lyon’s class, raising $260 and by grade, are the seniors collecting $567.
As a school, we collected $1,391.43. Congratulations Warriors, your generosity will be a big help to those in need.

Congratulations to the St Michael Wrestling Team. 4 wrestlers finished in the top 6 at the Baton Rouge City Wrestling Championship held Friday and Saturday; Bradley Brignac & Lawson Turner finished 4th, Dane Harter 5th and Alex Baltas 6th place.
Congratulations to the girls bowling team! The girls took 2nd place in the state wide bowling invitational.

Meetings:
Junior members of Student Council have a meeting tomorrow morning at 6:45 in room 16.

There will be a Reading Warriors meeting on Wednesday from 2:40-3:30 in the cooking lab. See Mrs. Donaldson for more information.

Student council we will have a meeting tomorrow evening at 6:30 in room 101. There will be another meeting in the cafeteria….so make sure to go to room 101 instead.

Liturgy Choir will practice Wednesday after school in the band room.
Wednesday:February 2
Congratulations to senior Beau Morris who will sign a letter of intent today to play football for McNeese State University.

The girls soccer team will play tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. on Burbank Field #4 vs West Feliciana in the Bi-District round.

Our third MP3 will be held on Saturday, February 27th at St. Thomas More in the Activity Center from 5-10pm. The first 50 to register by Monday, February 15 will get a free t-shirt. Registration is $10. Please sign up with Ms. Lee in Campus Ministry.

For those who are interested in Abbey Youth Fest, please bring your money and liability forms to Ms. Lee in Campus Ministry by Friday, February 19th. You can pick up a registration packet in the Campus Ministry Office.

Meetings:

Thursday:February 4
There will not be a Friday morning Mass in the chapel tomorrow due to the scheduled all school Mass later in the day. Students, remember to wear your dress uniform.

In celebration of Catholic Schools Week the Home and School will be serving free cake in the cafeteria during lunch for all students and teachers.

Come out and support your girls soccer team tonight as they take on West Feliciana in the bi-district round of the state playoffs. They will be playing at Burbank Field 4 at 6:00 p.m.
Friday:February 5
Today we have Mass and will follow the AM schedule.

Congratulations to the girls soccer team for defeating West Feliciana 2-0 in the bi-district round of the playoffs. Jessica Segalla scored both the goals.

Good luck to the boys soccer team as they travel to Shreveport to take on Loyola Prep on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Messmer Stadium.

Congratulations to Tyler Morrison for making the LHSCA East All-star team for Girls Basketball.

Congratulations to Brett Ross for making the LHSCA East All-Star team for boys soccer.
