Monday:November 17
In celebration of our generosity to those that are hungry in our community students and faculty will be wearing spirit shirts, appropriate jeans, tennis shoes and any St. Michael sweatshirt tomorrow.

Good luck to the St. Michael boys and girls cross country teams as they head to Natchitoches today to compete in the state meet.

Congratulations to the St. Michael cheerleading team for placing 1st in the small varsity division at the UCA regional competition at Live Oak High School. The team also earned a bid to the National High School Cheerleading competition in Orlando, FL. Great job ladies!

Meetings:
There will be a meeting Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. for all students interested in going to Italy and Greece in 2016. We will meet in room 205.
Tuesday:November 18
Boys basketball game vs. Madison Prep tonight JV plays at 5:30 p.m. Varsity plays at 6:45 p.m.. Students get in for $3 with their student ID. Get there early since a high attendance is expected.

Tickets will go on sale in the front office for this Friday night football playoff game vs Parkview Baptist tomorrow. The cost for the tickets is $10, there will be no warrior passes allowed for playoffs.
Come out and support your Warrior football team.

Wednesday:November 19
Congratulations to Reed Callegan, Alex Landry and Rachel Pendleton for placing in the Top 10 at the cross country state championships and receiving All-State honors. The girls and the boys teams both finished 4th of 25 teams.

Coach Hart and the boys basketball team would like thank the students for your support at the basketball game last night. The boys and girls will play Broadmoor Thursday at home starting with boys JV at 5:00 p.m.

The boys and girls basketball teams will play Broadmoor today at home starting with boys JV at 5:00 p.m.

Yesterday the Warrior swim team competed in the preliminary rounds. To compete in the finals today, a swimmer had to finish in the Top 16. All three of our girls relays, Zachary Miller and Dylan Verret have made Top 16. They will compete at 3:00 p.m. today for the final State rankings.

The Born to Run 5K, benefiting the Woman’s New Life Center, is this Saturday. It is an opportunity for TWO “A” service hours. Register online and join the SMHS Warriors for Life team, and come find Ms. Krause by the stage at the event to sign in. If you have any questions, ask Ms. Krause or your religion teacher.
Friday:November 21
Congratulations to the girls soccer team tied Zachary last night 1-1 Julia Robe scored and Jessica Segalla had the assist.

Congratulations to the girls and boys basketball teams on their wins last night over Broadmoor.

Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team on their 2-1 win over Covington last night. Good luck to them on Saturday as they travel to West Feliciana.

The swim team finished out the season with many personal bests.
Dylan Verret is 6th in the state in his 50 free and 7th in the state in his 100 free.
Zachary Miller is 2nd in the state in his 200 IM and 5th in the state in his 100 breast.
The girls 200 medley is top 16. The girls 400 and 200 free relays are both 8th in the state.

Congratulations to Rachel Pendleton for being selected All-Metro Cross Country. Reed Callegan and Alex Landry were selected Honorable Mention.

This morning passes are being sold for beard and sweatpants week. This will be the week we return from the holidays. For a $10 contribution to the Capital Campaign, boys do not have to shave all week. And for a $10 contribution students may wear appropriate sweatpants, spirit shirts, St. Michael sweatshirts, and tennis shoes. Remember that appropriate sweatpants means there is not writing across the back and the sweatpants are loose. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Berthelot in the office.

If you are interested in trying out for the Freshmen Boys basketball team please contact Coach Hart via Email. Try-outs will be held Monday December 1st from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday December 2nd from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Come out and support your Warrior football team tonight as they take on Parkview Baptist at Leadership in the second round of the State Playoffs. Wear your red and black and be there at 7:00 p.m. Go Warriors!
