Monday:May 13
The following sports convocations will take place tonight in the cafeteria. Dress uniform is required. From 5:45-6:30 p.m. boys and girls golf, softball and gymnastics
From 7:00-7:45 p.m. tennis and track
From 8:15-9:00 p.m. baseball

On Wednesday, May 15, seniors will sit for the AP European History exam in the library from 11:30-4:00 p.m. The library will be closed on Wednesday to faculty and students 5th through 8th periods and after school for that exam. Students who have 5th and 6th period lunch may not eat or gather in either patio. Students on those lunch shifts must remain in the cafeteria. The Campus Ministry room will be closed on Wednesday.

Parking registration for 2013-2014 begins today only for the Class of 2014. On Tuesday registration is for the – Class of 2014 and Class of 2015. Registration is open to all returning students on Wednesday. Registration will take place in the cafeteria after school.

Ambassadors are needed to work at two Senior events this week on Wednesday and Friday. See sign up sheets in the commons for details. Service hours for next year can be earned.

Any first year letter winner from powerlifting, bowling and sports medicine please pick up your letter jacket packet today in the front office. Balfour will be here Thursday during all three lunches to place orders for your jackets.

Today parking registration for 2013-2014 is for the – Class of 2014 and Class of 2015. Registration is open to all returning students on Wednesday. Registration will take place in the cafeteria after school.

Tomorrow morning from 7:15-11:30 a.m. juniors will sit in rooms 211, 213 and 214 for the AP US History exam. Students may not travel down the west wing of the building from rooms 211 and 212 until 6th period. The stairwell at the west end of the building will be closed to all students until 6th period. If the students’ lockers are on the west wing of the building, they may go to their lockers only before 1st period and after 5th period.

On the website tomorrow, under current news, will be a list of the candidates and a small write up as to why you should vote for them. Please take time to look at that and make an informed decision of who to vote for on Thursday.

Meetings:

Students: You must turn in your textbooks before you can take your exams next week. If you have lost your book, please check with your teacher for the price.

For morning classes today students enrolled in the following classes, please report to the following rooms: Mr. Bernhard-room 13, Ms. Coumes-room 12, Mrs. Joyner-room 206, Mr. Saylor-room 204 and Mr. Smith-room 5.

Sophomores and juniors will be voting this morning in their first hour for next year’s class officers. Teachers, please read the directions sent to you and return the ballots to the office by second hour. Freshmen, you are not voting today because there are no contested positions. Your officers for next year will be: President-Breezy Berteau, Vice President-Madeline Bailey and Treasurer-Robert Quiroga. Freshmen, we need more leadership from your class and it’s up to each and every one of you to step forward and get involved.
