Welcome to Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry department at St. Michael the Archangel High School was founded in 2002. It is a group of juniors and seniors that are ministers to not only the student body, but also the entire community of Baton Rouge. We do many retreats all throughout the community for all grades. Our mission is to spread the amazing love of Jesus Christ not only to the school of St. Michael the Archangel, but also to the entire community of Baton Rouge. |

What does a Peer Minister do?
A PEER MINISTER has the following obligations and responsibilities: |

What does a Peer Leader do?
A PEER LEADER has all the same responsibilities of a peer minister. In addition, the peer leader will have the following responsibilities: |
Meet once a week on Wednesday at 6:30 for fellowship and business
- Help with the basic running/organization of the Campus Ministry office
- Help organize the following components of Peer Ministry
- Picture taking and scrapbook
- Keeping the minutes at Peer Leader meetings and Peer Minister Meetings
- Relating the minutes of the Peer Leader meetings at the Peer Minister Meetings
- Helping organize topics for prayer and fellowship for the Peer Minister meetings
- Help organize business components of Peer Minister meetings.
- Advertising – keeping track of the bulletin board in the main hallway, helping organize committees to advertise for various events that include Peer Ministers and/or the larger SMHS community.
- Form a close community within the larger Peer Ministry community.
- Help to generate more ideas for events such as retreats.
