2011-2012 St. Michael Campaign for Excellence
As we begin our 28th year, we ask for your support and investment in the wonderful things that are happening here at St. Michael High School. Daily, we work to fulfill our mission to educate the whole child, spiritually, intellectually, and personally. We hope that you will take a moment to read this information in order to better understand our request for your support of our St. Michael Campaign for Excellence.

As you know, St. Michael High School continues to offer an exceptional, co-educational, value based Catholic education. However, the quality of our education does not come without a price. In an effort to keep our program accessible to all who value a Catholic education, SMHS’ tuition is $6,750 per student per year. For the 2011-2012 school year, the actual budgeted amount per student is $7,698 per student. That’s a difference of $948 per pupil which SMHS pays to educate our students outside of tuition collected. We rely on our parents, alumni, grandparents, friends of St. Michael, and the business community to help us cover this difference so that we might continue to offer our students the best educational experience possible, with a strong curriculum, full spiritual life, many extra-curricular activities, state of the art technology programs, and a very dedicated, well qualified faculty.

We ask that each member of the St. Michael community prayerfully consider making a donation to our Campaign for Excellence. While some donors may be able make a gift that reflects the difference between cost and tuition or more, we ask that each donor participate with a gift that is based on his/her ability. Know that we here at St. Michael value all donations made, regardless of the amount.

Please consider making a 100% tax deductible gift, and check with your employer for a matching gift program. Thank you in advance for your additional investment and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ellen Bogan Lee
